The Moyer Property was purchased by North Lebanon Township in fall of 2002 as part of the Township's 10 year comprehensive plan. Grants were received from DCNR and DCED to offset a portion of the purchase of the property.

The Moyer Property covers an area of 28 acres and will eventually be made into a recreational area for the benefit of the eastern district of the Township.

Congratulations to Olivia Devitz, 5th grader from Union Canal Elementary, for naming the Moyer Property the Lenni Lenape Park!

As part of the recently completed comprehensive plan, a proposed master site plan for the Lenni Lenape Park has also been completed and is on display in the Township Office lobby.

This past fall, a nature trail was cleared by Russell Deaven and friends at Lenni Lenape Park.  Russell is a resident of North Lebanon Twp, a Senior at Cedar Crest High School, and an Eagle Scout candidate with Troop 8.  The trail was his Eagle and Senior projects.

Click Lenni Lenape Nature Trail to view a PowerPoint presentation about the creation of trail.  (Must have Microsoft PowerPoint to view slides.)
